Bread Pudding

 2 Packages Hawaiian Rolls (Really, any bread will do - but Hawaiian Rolls are the best)
 2 cups Sugar
 1 stick Butter
 2 Eggs
 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
 2 cups Milk (or Heavy Cream if you're feeling extravagant)
  cup Golden Raisins or Craisins
  cup Chopped Pecans (optional)

Tear bread into bite size chunks and place in a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with Raisins/Craisins.

Melt Butter in microwave for 20 seconds. Mix Melted Butter with Sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add Milk, Vanilla Extract and Eggs. Mix well.

Pour Milk mixture over the bread chunks. Sprinkle with Chopped Pecans, if desired.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve with Blue Bell Natural Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

I am OBSESSED with bread pudding. I intentionally buy more bread than we need for any gathering, just so I have an excuse to make bread pudding. My husband hates bread pudding, so Logan and I get it all to ourselves, unless Grandpa comes over to get a bite.

Originally, I made did NOT add the butter to the mixture, instead pouring it on top of the bread chunks after the the milk mixture. When Logan made the recipe, he accidentally added the butter to the sugar and history was made.
